It's my birthday. What will this year be like?

The clouds were moving fast over the moon at 5am this morning.
A nice start to a new trip around the sun.

For the first time my age number feels "old" to me. Of course my older granddaughter has been assuring me that I am old for some time now! She also tells her Dad that he is ancient which both he and I find hilarious given his obviously much younger age.

We'll see what the year brings, but is starting out nicely. Today I am going to SFMOMA with Hubby and older son and DIL to see the special Matisse exhibit and check out the museum as a whole to see if we want to go regularly. it is just a short walk from a BART station on the line we live near. We also will have lunch at one of the 2 restaurants in the museum.

The special exhibit looks like it will be quite interesting as it examines the influence on art of one specific painting. You can get a glimpse of it here (Matisse exhibit overview).
