Five Things

1. I took my granddaughter to the bookstore on Sunday afternoon to get books 2 & 3 in a 3 book series she is reading and she was quite happy to get gently used books. I checked out the first in the series from the library to read myself so we can discuss it. It is called The Serpent's Secret and the first chapter is titled A Monster Visits Suburbia. What's not to like!

2. At the bookstore I found the cutest 2026 calendar (all calendars half price) - Art dogs! Check out the names of each dog such as Henri Muttisse or Paw Klee. I don't need a paper calendar, but I have it hung where I will see it several times a day and it makes me smile each time. I hope to draw my version of each picture each month.

3. I got my new AirPods working by myself and am unreasonably proud of myself.

4. After a year of mailing us refund checks despite us having gone through the electronic deposit process, Kaiser started electronically depositing the money. I am unreasonably happy about this. Btw, our plan includes a refund of our Medicare premium each month.

5. I decided not to attend a Lunar New Year Calligraphy program at the library after getting a longer description of what it entailed. Signed up for a vision board workshop at a local shop instead.

    1. With what is happening in our country right now I find that it is so important to notice the little things that are good.

I am very interested in the Vision board workshop, and am hoping you’ll post about it here once you attend!

  3. What a cute calendar. A vision board is something I have thought of doing, but have really no idea of how to go about creating one.

    God bless.
