1. We spontaneously took the entire family out to a Mexican restaurant for Valentines dinner and it was lots of fun.
2. Our older son and DIL came to town for the youngest granddaughter's 2nd birthday party and took a pet sitting gig nearby for another Cavapoo. The two pups had a playdate on Saturday morning in our backyard and had a very good time. It was fun to watch. Ours is the spotted one.
3. Once they were worn out we were picked up by our other son and the 2 grandgirls to go out for bagels and then to swim lesson.
4. The birthday party on Sunday was lots of fun with a few toddlers, a few friends of the older granddaughter, and a nice mix of adults. The little party girl had a great time.
5. My older son lowered the top two shelves in the upper corner kitchen cabinet which made me unreasonably happy as they are now easily useful for me.
6. He then spent a long time giving the dog a back massage and it was sweet and funny as the dog kept moving to make it easier to for him to get to just the right spots and then holding very still while he was massaged.
7. I was able to find a few opportunities to sincerely and specifically compliment my 8 year old granddaughter this week. I think that is important and she deserved those and more.
I say, you had a lovely week with family. Those pups are so cute.
