Progress means a blue cast

Still no weight on my foot, must elevate and keep swelling down with ice pack and ibuprofen but look at this nice cast! I’ve also been able to take Tylenol instead of the Norco which is an opioid painkiller.

The dr was very happy with the X-ray too. The cast comes off on August 13th when I go for my next appointment. This was a good time to have the surgery as I wouldn’t be going anywhere anyway lol.

  5. Wow. I'm so impressed with your recovery. I have a friend who has really bad bunions on both feet. She has been too afraid to try surgery. I'm going to share your story with her.

    1. Thanks. It is a long journey to recover from the procedure.
I did learn from required pre-op videos that there are over 100 different procedures to fix bunions. I would really be struggling if my hubby wasn’t here and being my caretaker.
