Pretty much what we always did; so when the inheritance came (2008) we just followed what we had been doing. Our State Farm agent has guided us through life and we wouldn't be where we are if it had not been for him. I am pleased to know that his agency (for he WILL retire and he WILL die) is advising my son and his wife also. I do address this in general in a post called "Lifelong Relationships" or something like that--for those of us who do NOT move around--but in a nutshell, he's the man. My kids have two calls to make: to him and to our local bank. Keep it simple.
