I've been noticing, just this week, the amount of golden leaves that have fallen. Looks like someone has painted the road and sidewalk in gold.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to walk through and I saw a teenage girl walking through scooping up leaves and letting them fall again. A bit of tangible sunshine.

DeleteLike pennies (or gold coins?) from heaven. What a beautiful blanket of color. Our ash tree just lost all of its yellow leaves at once this past week. They were prettier on the tree than on the ground!!
