Well, I made a new meatless main dish for dinner last night and we enjoyed it although I wouldn't put it in my top 10 dinner entrees. It was quick, tasty and healthy and accompanied by a mixed green salad. Check out this Sweet Potato Pasta recipe. It says it serves 4 but we had only one serving left probably because we only had one side dish and no dessert.
I do like poetry of certain kinds and saw this kindle book listed on one of the library's partners website so I am reading it. The intro alone is worth it so far!
In terms of mindful shopping, I've been trying to come up with an inexpensive solution for storing blankets and the comforter for the guest bedroom in the closet in that room. Surprisingly hard to find something that leaves them easily accessible and isn't costly. I just ordered blanket hangers from Amazon so will see if that is a solution that works for us.
Have never heard of a blanket hanger so had to follow your link. That looks like an inexpensive solution to your dilemma. I have a bench with a storage space in it in one of our guest rooms but hadn't thought of putting blankets in there. Might check that out.ReplyDelete
The poetry book looks interesting. Kind of strange cover. I thought at first it was a pocket chart like kinder teachers use. Love the image of the couple dancing, though. Used to enjoy sharing poetry with my students.
The intro was very interesting but so far the poems have not been my favorites. I'll keep going.Delete
I have never heard of blanket hangers either. I will need to check them out. My storage consists of folding them up at the end of the bed.ReplyDelete
I have never heard of blanket hangers. I usually have them at the bottom of the bed or taking up shelf space.ReplyDelete
I like certain kinds of poems too, and have pondered starting a group locally to share in person poems we enjoy, when covid leaves us alone.ReplyDelete
Starting a poetry group sounds like a lovely thing to look forward to.Delete
