Succumbed to some sales

Oh my but clothing sales were really nice, I’ve ordered quite a few things and hope they all fit!

Have you been shopping the seasonal sales?

  1. NO, I really hate shopping for clothing and I hate even more trying to purge my closet which is my project for this coming week.

    1. Good luck with your closet project. I think I went to far with a small wardrobe and I do get bored with wearing the same thing for years.

  2. No, but primarily because I rarely (never?) shop sales anymore. I buy what I want when I want it, and work to stay out of stores otherwise, though HomeGoods continues to be a problem area for me. LOL!

I hope all of your clothing purchases work out, and that you love them all!

    1. Thanks. No in store shopping for me with the exception of Vons, CVS and the post office occasionally.

  3. I've seen some decent online sales but have done nothing yet because of new climate. Looking ahead, I'll obviously need sweaters, but not the real heavy ones and none of the coatigan type things (two months of cold and a coat will do it), so I am looking at lightweight sweaters. Actually saw one in lime at Kohls the other day and may regret not getting it. Like you, no stores although I have been sorely tempted to at least walk into the local thrift store for Christmas decor and to look at lamps.

    1. California's Covid rate and ICU beds occupied is going crazy so no in person shopping for me until that reverses. I mostly own lighter weight sweaters too. Oddly some purchases were short sleeved for later or under cardigans.

  4. With so many online stores offering sales, plus free shipping, it's really hard to resist. I succumbed too...and don't feel one bit guilty!

    1. No guilt here either! Lucky we can afford it.

    2. Juhli, you're right about being lucky we can afford to order things. I know that most of us who are retired haven't gone through the financial pain of those who have lost jobs, due to the virus. I know we need to remember the less fortunate right now.

    3. Absolutely. We have focused our monthly contribution on the county food bank.

  5. No clothes buying here, but I did have my eye on a loom which I am now kicking myself for not purchasing.

    God bless.

    1. Interesting. What do you want to make on a loom?

  6. Ha!! You have such great resistance and fortitude. Love to know you caved a little and enjoyed the sales. Cannot wait to see what you bought. I did a little shopping for the winter capsule wardrobe. Really like the color block sweaters.
