Monday Musings

Even in an organized & relatively minimalist home like ours, it is interesting to clean out nooks & crannies. Who knew we had 5 unopened toothbrushes courtesy of the dentist? The vanity deep clean unearthed them along with 4 little tubes of toothpaste. Do you think some would be welcome in a Little Free Pantry?

I received AirPods for Christmas and am determined to learn how they work and set them up by myself (maybe?)! I am so new technology challenged. So far I have managed to charge them after we searched for and found a very short USB 3 cable, found the online instructions and some probably helpful YouTube videos, confirmed Bluetooth is turned on my phone, iPad and laptop, and reached out to my son who does have a spare longer USB 3 cable so no need to buy one. Turns out my Kindle charging cable works! Two questions: why isn't a charging cable included and why are none of them labeled?

I have started journaling briefly each morning and keeping it positive and encouraging as an act of self-care. Hopefully a new habit will be established.

I've gotten the right clothing and attitude together for walking the dog in the rain when needed. Rain pants were the big improvement and I'm glad I still have my old hiking boots to provide traction.

  1. The random unlabeled tech cords drive me batty!

  2. Me too but my younger son has no such problems. I'm the wrong generation.

  3. I have taken to saving all cables and letting our techie son check them out when he comes home. Sometimes I surprise myself and actually figure out a new tech thing.

    God bless.
