September week 4: Farmer's Market excursion

On Sunday we took the 8 year old grand-girl to the Farmer's Market. The 3 of us had a good time!

Our first encounter with the monthly puzzle exchange table at the fancy farmer's market was awesome! We brought one that no one wanted to do, granddaughter brought 2 and her Mom sent one. Different ones were happily picked out by granddaughter as replacements. What a great idea!

We treated her to a fancy brownie and fresh juice plus red grapes for her household. I just got spinach, cucumbers and red grapes for us. Hubby got us both pastries.

The live music was upbeat jazz tunes - very nice.

Granddaughter ran into a friend which made her happy.

And the only other news is that nothing I ordered online worked out so will be returned and I got my COVID vaccine. As usual I lost a day to my reaction to it but still very happy to have gotten it.

    1. Thanks. Clothes shopping for me is a long process and I'll admit it is frustrating.

  2. So glad you mentioned Farmers Mkt. I think tomorrow's the day for local one. Not sure I'll finish my book by then. It's due tomorrow, and a new book, so not re-checkable. Love the puzzle exchange!

    1. I was awed by the amount of puzzles and granddaughter really was thrilled to trade ones she no longer wanted.

  3. I love the stories you share about your time with your granddaughters, probably because mine are thousands of miles away. What a wonderful and brave decision you and your husband made to be near family. But, I also love the Bay Area, so I might be a bit biased. 🙂

  4. Jazz in the background always makes an outing feel extra special. Even with a day lost to the vaccine reaction, it seems like a day full of small joys and family moments.
