Here we go! September week 1 of year 76
I thought warm weather might have arrived and stick around for the month as September is typically quite warm here, but after a few days it ...

We have had a relatively mild summer here in Central Texas, torrential rain notwithstanding. I am happy not to have a huge electric bill and 100 degree plus days that zap me!
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy with that too. We are still running heat every day.
DeleteLike Gina, our electric bills have been pretty okay. We knew when we bought the house fifteen years ago that the A/C was original to the housebuild (1995), so every spring I give it a real pep talk about hanging in a little longer, and so far it has. :)
DeleteWell, you know what Mark Twain said - The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.'
ReplyDeleteDown here we have yet to turn on our A/C, so it seems we're slightly cooler than I remember as well. We've been in the mid 70's for most of July, but like you, we know the heat (relatively speaking) will get her eventually. Are your skies clear? I do well under blue skies no matter the temp. It's the ongoing gray that gets to me more than the temps.
Sadly is has been very foggy and gray as well as windy. The sun has broken through a few days including today
DeleteOur hot weather actually started early this year. Seems like the heat and humidity will never end at times. Not going to complain though as soon enough, up here in the Great White North, things will change.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
