Photo a day January Challenge - Day 1: a goal

Thanks to Carla for posting about this challenge! It will help with my goal of taking photos that reflect the season too.

 
 
Here is Day 1's photo reflecting my goal of sewing 2 summer skirts with fabric I received for Christmas. I love the dynamic of patterns and color.

      I made all of my clothes in my teens but then I fit a pattern size perfectly. This will be more of a challenge to get the fit right so I am starting with a muslin one. My DIL1 gave me these fabrics - so cheery.
