You can give away almost anything!

I continue to be amazed at what I can give away through my Buy Nothing group! The rock pictured above that we found upside down on our yard excavation and lots of fill dirt as advertised below although there is a lot more than shown.

In Atlanta you got the same result simply by putting it on the curb. Do you live in an area that has a thriving giving and reuse ethic?

  1. Not sure, I do know if we put something in the back alley, most times it is gone in a few days.

    Interesting rock.

    God bless.

  2. We have a 'free' give away website here, too, but I've never used it. I live the idea. It keeps things out of the landfills. I can see why the half finished sculpture got scooped up. When I moved I had a similar piece I gave to my brother and he put it in his garden.

  3. Our Buy-Nothing group is super active. I rarely take anything to the thrift store these days.

    1. Haven't done a thrift store drop off since we moved! Between the Buy Nothing group and the city recycling/reuse center nearby there are lots of other options.

  4. Have never tried to give away dirt but everything else has been picked up from where we leave it on the curb. Well, everything but 2 metal decorations I had - one for Easter and one for Thanksgiving. Dragged them back in and will try closer to the appropriate holidays.
