The end of bunion surgery posts!

I thought I'd end all reporting on my surgery recovery with this bit of "poetry" or an ode to my foot lol.

My foot calls to me in the middle of the night

With burning sensations and shooting pain

To tell me I am healing.

Meanwhile the dog sleeps peacefully next to me

Just opening an eye and sighing

While I toss and turn wishing the meds would blot it out.

    1. Yes, I knew what I was getting into this time but the outcome will be happy feet walking a long way.

  6. Aren't you glad we just 'come with' two feet? I always tell my massage technicians that I wish I had 3 arms and 3 legs to get more massaging. But in this case, I am glad you just have two feet. Seems your pup isn't the least bit disturbed by your restlessness at sleep. Hope you are soon feeling 110% and ready for walking, dancing, hiking to your heart's content.
