When your husband buys a bike and puts the patio chairs in the attic ...

We had discussed how to fit the bike into our small garage but when he went off to pick up the bike I happened to realize the 4 folding patio chairs and 2 folding metal tables were gone. I even looked under the beds! Turns out he had put them in the attic so now I can’t access them. Long story but today we are going to go through and rearrange the storage cupboards in the garage and figure out how to rearrange other stored items. One chair and table will be returning to the garage!

This morning has me laughing at that plus the craziness of getting up at 2 am so the dog could have her urgent pee, very low water pressure from the kitchen faucet and the new toaster not working. Laughing after coffee that is and yes I did go back to sleep and so did the dog. And post coffee experimentation found it was the outlet not the toaster that was the problem. Fixed now.

I won’t dare say the rest of the day has to go better. It is Friday the 13th after all lol.

How is your morning going?

  1. Hubs up early, so I got in some extra reading time this morning & also cleaned the bathroom before work. Go me!

  2. My husband makes me crazy when he does stuff like that...and he DOES! LOL Both of my children were born on the 13th of their birth months, so are periodically on Fridays, which kind of makes me love these days. :)

    1. That is interesting about your children. I'm not superstitious but found it ironic. We haven't solved the kitchen faucet water pressure problem yet though other faucets work fine.

  3. Awoke at 2:30 AM and did NOT go back to sleep!

Could you hang the bike from the rafters in your garage? Or from one tire along the side of your garage?

Men really don't think the way we do, do they? 😆

    1. That is way to early to stay up! We have done some rearranging and deck uttering and think we have a solution for the bike but time will tell. Bonus was moving the steps tool inside, putting a very rarely used folding table under a bed, etc.

  4. I just use covers made for my patio furniture and move the pieces closer to the house so the wind doesn't get them.

  5. Actually I had a lovely morning....The weather was perfect for a walk outside and our provincial government has now made it mandatory to wear masks in all places with over 5,000 people. Finally I will feel safe going grocery shopping.

    God bless.

  7. I have lots of holiday decorations. Borderline too many. But I love putting them up with each holiday and new season. Their storage became an issue when the closet under our stairs was bursting with bins full of Christmas and Halloween and Easter. So I ordered some shelves to be built in the garage. But the shelves didn't accommodate my bins well. Anyway, all of this to say this weekend we moved things around in the garage because my bins of decor are now bothering PC out there. I argue that it's a garage and boxes are okay in the garage (and closet) especially when there's still room for both cars. Anyway, we are both happy with how things are arranged for now. Glad you guys could come to an agreement, too. Hurray for days when you can go back to sleep and start again!!

    1. Sounds like you had good results with your rearranging. I love looking at other people's decor just lazy so don't do my own.
