I just finished reading an article about the first leg of the Out of Eden walk that follows the migration path of early humans and than found the Out of Eden Walk - Dispatches from the Field blog where he give more detailed updates on his progress. Pretty amazing on so many levels.
Then there is this additional site Out of Eden Walk with even more information. History, sociology, nature, politics, technology, camels - it's got it all.
