Best Buy Nothing gift yet!

 

A third of an apple pie from a local restaurant bakery! I’ve had lunch at that restaurant twice and drooled over their pies in the case but with just the 2 of us it was too much. Today we will find out how good it is.

Other gifts have been lovely and just what we needed though. I was delighted to use the high chair we were given so our baby granddaughter could join us at lunch yesterday. She was quite happy about it herself.

    I've bought whole pies for just myself, cut them and froze individual pieces to take out when I want them. Works great. I hope that pie was as good as it looks.

      We enjoyed it but were glad we hadn't bought it as we like mine much better lol.

    Like misadventures says, freezing pie works really well. We buy the giant apple pie at costco and cut into portions. Tastes great reheated.
