Other gifts have been lovely and just what we needed though. I was delighted to use the high chair we were given so our baby granddaughter could join us at lunch yesterday. She was quite happy about it herself.

I've bought whole pies for just myself, cut them and froze individual pieces to take out when I want them. Works great. I hope that pie was as good as it looks.

DeleteLike misadventures says, freezing pie works really well. We buy the giant apple pie at costco and cut into portions. Tastes great reheated.
