I better get better at dressing for this type of weather!

I find it hard to dress comfortable when it is cool in the morning and hot by afternoon - but that is the climate I will be living in once we move. Here are this week's best efforts. Suggestions?

  1. Here in denver it has been forty at night and above eighty during the day. Layers, layers, layers, I am not an early riser, so I do not have to get out first thing in the morning but still....I actually have kicked on the heat for a couple of hours when I get out of bed and shower.

That said, I own a lot of cardigans in all weights. (Ipersonally am not a jacket person). I am comfortable wearign sandals or slipons when it is cooler as long as Iam warm everywhere else. So (realizing that I may dress more casually), I would wear capris or lightweight yoga pants, colorful silky tshirts and a cardigan that I can remove. Since it is too warm to wear a jacket to get that put together look I always wear a necklace and earrings. I also have what I cal a car sweater and a change of shoes in my car at all times,

  2. I'm in the process of deciding how I want to dress. Times have changed, and I'm so glad that we can opt for comfort AND some style. So far, I've purged anything uncomfortable or dated.

It was fun to see pics of your new finds. You look nice in them.

  3. You look great, Juhli! And yes, layers are your friend :-). Shoes are the most difficult, your feet will freeze in the morning...

    1. Thanks! Yes they are cold and shoes in general are a challenge as I refuse to have my feet hurt. Focusing some shopping there.

  4. Where I live I dress in layers because it can range from cool to rather hot in a day. Not too hot, but still, layers are helpful. You have a good plan.
