Sadly, my Mom died on Friday. She loved her family and friends, dogs, reading and her library, traveling to new places, art, bird watching, learning, going out to eat and to plays, and so much more. She really loved my Dad and I love this photo of them taken back in 2007 when they were both well. I miss them both terribly and was lucky to have them for so long.

DeleteI tried leaving a comment first thing this morning from my iPod but it didn't work. Sorry for the late condolences. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I have been thinking about you all day. Your love, care and concern for your mom was always evident on your blog--I know you will miss her and grieve her for a long time. Lean on your dear hubby for strength and snuggle that Princess Pup for feel good endorphins and hang on! Time is the only thing that eases the pain. Take care...xo H

DeleteJuhli, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. That is a lovely photo of your parents (they both look so happy together) and it's good that you have great memories of your Mom and Dad. It's over 7 years since my Mum died and I still treasure many happy memories of her, especially when we took her to New England for her 80th birthday present, as she'd wanted to go there ever since she caught a glimpse from the ship going to Canada! I'm sure you will have amazing memories of your Mom too, which will help you through these difficult days. Sending hugs. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you. It has been 5 years since my Dad died and my Mom rallied impressively as an elderly widow. I have many happy memories of both.
