Five on Friday

It is early in a new month so I thought I’d pop in and list 5 good things in my life right now and then go back to hibernating lol.

1. I’m making a point of enjoying pretty sunrises and sunsets before the rainy season starts. That is a sunset picture from our 2nd floor balcony and yes there is an old windmill in our neighbor’s yard. This area was mostly farmland until the late 1940s or early 1950s and wells were the water source. The well house is still there too but it’s not operational.

2. A painful but helpful session of myofascial release therapy has reduced my leg and foot pain. Onward with efforts for continuing improvement.

3. I am very glad I switched primary care doctors as this one really listened to me at my annual physical and we had a good discussion. All my annual labs were in the normal range so I’m keeping on with what I have been doing.

4. I am looking forward to Hubby’s birthday, granddaughter turning 9, and family Thanksgiving later this month.

5. My time off from blogging is helping get stuff done, etc. so I’ll be back in early December to say hi again.

  1. You certainly sound much more grounded and happy. I will enjoy hearing from you in December, Juhli.

    God bless.

  2. We still use well water, but ours runs on electricity not wind. :)
So good to hear from you. Glad your myofascial release therapy helped. Oh my, I can't believe your oldest grand is going to be 9!

    Have a great November!

    1. My parents had a well in NH. I didn't like the windmill when we moved in but have become rather fond of it!

  3. Physical therapy is like that - painful at first with eventual benefit. Hmmm...a lot of things in life seem like that!

    1. It was helpful. I've had quite a bit of PT but myofascial release therapy is the most painful yet helpful thing I've done. Doing the follow up PT now.
