The Pup's vacation at our neighbors

Hanging out and baking in the sun on the neighbor’s back porch while we were gone.

You might remember that our dog stayed with a nearby neighbor while we went to Palm Springs for a wedding. Since we hadn't left him with anyone since we got him 3 years ago we had no idea how he would react.

Well, if he hadn't been happy to see us you'd think he was totally not missing us at all! Ate every meal. Climbed into the recliner with her to watch TV. Slept in her bed, enjoyed her friends coming over to play cards, lay outside in the sun and spent a lot of time exploring her yard. I bet he's thinking - Why don't we have a grassy backyard instead of gravel and flagstone?

She said he would be welcome back for another visit! I'm really glad he was comfortable and ok with staying there and was a good guest.

  1. It is so wonderful when our beloved furry family members enjoy who we leave them with. Looks like he enjoyed her deck and the sunshine.

    God bless.

  2. He's what we call a "Love the one You're With" dog! That is awesome. It means you've raised a secure boy and he's always going to love going there.

  7. What a blessing that the pup adjusted so well to his VRBO!! Our kitties get so upset when we leave them. And usually don't forgive us for a day or two once we get home.
