There are so many thoughts swirling around in my head. We spent 7 days getting my Mom's house ready for sale, handling legal and financial issues, making donations, visiting another elderly relative and burying my Mom. I took a day of rest and then drove home by myself with a car full of family pictures, family art and mementos.
I'll pass on some of what I learned once I can organize my thoughts.

I understand your tiredness. I lost my sister suddenly in November at the early age of 58. I am executor (she leaves a 24 and 19 year old) and it is hard work.

I was very emotionally tired after 7 days of work, took Saturday off to just visit with my DB and SiL and then drove almost 1200 miles in 2 days. The drive is why I am pooped today I think!
DeleteNice that you took a minute to post after all that; hope you will take some time to yourself now!
ReplyDeleteTake a little time to heal and rest yourself, you have had an emotional and stressful time x
ReplyDeleteYou are both so kind. It was emotional but there was also the gift of spending so much one on one time with my brother. Hasn't happened for decades.
