I don't understand the minds of people who are oblivious to their own and other people's health just so they can have what they want right now at the beach but that is where we are it seems.Juhlihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14440147890620303894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4615566302085141880.post-59808983283931034052020-05-05T00:13:55.358-04:002020-05-05T00:13:55.358-04:00Heard on the news today that at least one of our T...Heard on the news today that at least one of our Texas beaches was crazy this past weekend with no masks and no social distancing. I don't wish anyone ill (no pun intended), but it will be interesting to see how the governor deals with the fallout if all the reopening goes bad. It makes me so angry that he put in his order that masks are voluntary, and that his order supersedes local ordinances.kath001https://www.blogger.com/profile/15419353146614030036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4615566302085141880.post-55262213276741437802020-05-04T20:11:51.512-04:002020-05-04T20:11:51.512-04:00I too hope they realize it isn't over!I too hope they realize it isn't over!Juhlihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14440147890620303894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4615566302085141880.post-22863458011117363902020-05-04T20:11:27.220-04:002020-05-04T20:11:27.220-04:00Sound lovely in terms of outdoor activity! For the larger groups, recommended muting microphones as people come on, then remuting them after each speaker concludes. It gets too noisy otherwise as folks forget that every noise and background noise can be heard.

Over here we are reveling in moving to the beginning of Phase Two this week. Two of our local beaches are reopening for active usage beginning tomorrow, midweek mornings only, which works fine for us! So that, a picnic lunch afterward at a quiet park, and a perhaps stop for a to-go cup of coffee on the way home? So close to normal for us I'm figurative doing handstands!Tamarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18248579159497266955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4615566302085141880.post-56628322165452289652020-05-04T18:44:42.832-04:002020-05-04T18:44:42.832-04:00My experience is that the zoom groups are small bu...My experience is that the zoom groups are small but then here they are just conversation groups. I'm thinking about doing a book club one where everyone gets to share the gist of the last book they read and what they thought? You are jumping into a project there, my friend. So far I am of the " we will find the meat but may be surprised philosophy" rather than the "oh shit there's a run on meat, let's stock up" group. And am full out carnivore.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15195838412173806659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4615566302085141880.post-68042137658080008382020-05-04T18:35:31.554-04:002020-05-04T18:35:31.554-04:00Thanks Terra. Thanks Terra.Juhlihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14440147890620303894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4615566302085141880.post-48577125161997964662020-05-04T18:17:25.633-04:002020-05-04T18:17:25.633-04:00I don't have any advice to share about running...I don't have any advice to share about running groups, but the 3 Zoom groups I am in work fine. Just way less fun than in person! The most people we have had is 20, I think more might be hard to manage. Less than 10 works best. Best of luck to you.Terra https://www.blogger.com/profile/04396481049075747940noreply@blogger.com
